Polkadots is my go-to place. They have a ton of current brand name, previously worn clothing and accessories in AMAZING condition. It's set up like a boutique so everything is sized appropriately which makes it easy to shop. There's a shoe section, books and home decor, jewelry, and higher end items all very easy to find. Every day they have sales: 50% and down. I spend 1/4 less at Polkadots than I would at Colonie/Crossgates etc., but get the same quality products and way friendlier service.

I love shopping at PolkaDots. They have quality fashion clothing for all ages, jewelry, shoes, books, toys, furniture, home accessories and much, much more! I only wish they were open later during the week like a Friday night until 8pm!

Really nice selection of quality clothes. And unique toys too. Good boots as well. Love coming here to do my Christmas shopping, and some for myself too

Great little thrift/consignment store. Very clean, and you can tell that they are selective in picking out good quality and name brand clothing to present in their shop. I absolutely love coming here!! Great atmosphere too!

This place is da bomb dot com! I went a few weeks ago arrived not too far from closing time and the gals were so friendly and helpful. I got some cute goodies for my mom and me for the holidays. Looking forward to a return trip!

I have literally been going to Polkadots for over 10 years, since back when they had a smaller shop in Guilderland. Polkadots is a great place to save money on clothes, toys, and more. I started out buying baby clothes, toys, and gear, and saved tons of money because the kids outgrew the items so fast. Now I shop mostly for clothes, books, and shoes. The items are all very nice quality - you won't find clothes that are pilled, stained, etc. and the brands are higher quality brands. The store also buys items for either consignment or through a fast cash program (where you get cash for your items). They also have an option where they will donate whatever you don't want (which is so convenient!). The store is always clean and well organized. There is a little toy produce stand for little ones to play with, and a nice bathroom with changing table. I shop here regularly and also bring lots of items to sell (many of which I purchased here).

Our family has been getting clothes from Polkadots Consignment Shop for years, and it’s always such a great experience. We’ve found so many beautiful and affordable things for our daughter, and the quality never disappoints. The team is friendly, honest, and clearly cares about their customers and community. It’s rare to find a shop that combines great finds with such a warm, welcoming atmosphere.

Found Polka Dots while in the area and searching for consignment/vintage shops. I absolutely loved my shopping experience. Great pieces and great prices. Did I love everything clothing article in the store? Of course not, but that is personal preference. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The store is clean and well organized. I have been planning to return but I do live 1 1/2 hours away and although I am in Albany at least once a week, ( if not more) the timing is never right. I am excited to say I will be in tomorrow! One negative review seemed upset about not having items accepted for consignment so they put down the clothing being sold and complained about the music. I am an extreme fashion person. High end, Haute Couture, vintage and current( nothing covered in designer logos though) with inexpensive pieces mixed in and I was impressed with the stock here. As I said I am really looking forward to my return visit and hope I get some great finds.

The quality and price is right at this lovely consignment shop that reads like a boutique rather than a store filled with 2nd hand clothes. The selection wasn't overly large but every single item was in excellent condition. Also the prices were fantastic and the sales, also. I purchased a lovely work dress for 2$ on the sale rack. They also had a nice selection of costume jewelry, some children's clothes, as well as a few toys and books. I will definitely be heading back to Polkadots Consignment especially as I was told there will be a new section in the store for vintage clothes opening soon.
